Anglesea Medical is a private billing clinic. All fees are at the discretion of the treating doctor.
EMERGENCY SERVICES + WALK-IN CARE
While we are not an Emergency Department, our clinic is often first port of call for urgent treatment. Our practice nurses will triage for urgency and where appropriate we will manage on site or assist with arrangements for a transfer to Geelong.
Please note that, due to limited appointment availability, walk-in patients with non-urgent concerns may not be able to be seen on the same day.
We can assist with a range of urgent care needs, including:
Laceration assessment and suturing
Wound care and dressings
Minor burns management
Assessment and management of uncomplicated fractures
Concussion assessment
ECGs
Asthma management
Anaphylaxis treatment and assessment
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 000 immediately rather than attending the clinic.
If you are uncertain call Nurse On Call 1300 60 60 24, for free health advice and guidance.
We also have ‘on the day’ appointments each day, which patients are able to access and book via reception after 8:30am or online via Automed.
